Modern Symbolism Art
Christin Behrend combines experimental and expressive painting styles, executed in acrylic colours on a roughened background, created by marble flour enriched with binder.
The results are emotionally charged paintings, whose strongly symbolically atmosphere allows a positive view of life. It processes personal life issues, detached from time and space. Her artworks give an idea of the experience of spiritual liberation.

“And the light shines in the darkness”
In this period people are going through a lot of unrest;
due to wars, illnesses and personal crises.
However, we still see the light flashing every now and then.
Light in all possible shapes and colours.
Sometimes like a short spotlight, sometimes like a sunrise.
Nature in all its abundance.
Radiant experiences.
Messengers of another reality.
The light shines through all darkness and illuminates it – more and more.
The most important things in life are given to us.
That is what the painting tells us.
